On our way to the hospital!! Scheduled induction for 8-8-08 but of course little Peyten wanted to surprise us yet again with her presence. At 2:30 am on August 7th, shes "fixin" (our new Texas lingo) to come out. Luckily her Dr. Papa and Nana were staying with us in Texas and I only had to walk into the next room to get some expert advice. It was quite a trip to the hospital. While having contractions and waiting for everyone to hurry to the car, Nana decides to change her outfit a couple times to look her best for her new grand baby no matter how bad the contractions were. Then there was Zach...he had been dreaming about this moment probably for 9 months now wondering how fast he could get me to the hospital without having to pull over for a cop. I don't know what he was more excited about...the baby comin or driving like he was on some movie.
